Health care providers are required to publicly disclose certain information about a patient’s health and are not allowed to violate the patient’s privacy. Similarly, network security professionals must defend network systems against attacks from hackers who want to gain access to a company’s protected information.

One example is the difference between what it means to be a consumer and what it means to be a corporation. As the online generation grows up and begins to seek information on almost any topic under the sun, the importance of property rights becomes increasingly evident.
