Bên cạnh những đặc điểm vượt trội thì Asphalt 9: Legends cũng bị dính phải một vài hạt sạn nhỏ. Rõ nét nhất là việc “hút máu” của game, người chơi chỉ có cách nạp tiền mở thẻ nếu muốn sở hữu những con siêu xe mới. Bằng không thì chỉ còn cách trải nghiệm từ từ và mở khóa xe dần dần tính bằng đơn vị tháng. Nghe qua thì có vẻ hơi bất công, nhưng ta cũng nên thông cảm vì nhà sản xuất cần phải có cơm để sống.
