TheNvidia GeForce RTX 3070 can also make full use of its 140 watts. The 16 GB of RAM and the 512 GB SSD play their part in the good system performance. Image content is displayed on the 17-inch IPS panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Colors look rich and black tones very saturated.

Another advantage of the Gigabyte A7 X1's case is the very good maintenance options that it offers. For instance, the battery can be removed and replaced without any tools. The RAM can also be replaced.

Access to the interior is possible after loosening all screws on the underside and removing the bottom cover. There's also a 2.5-inch slot and a second M.2 slot for additional storage devices inside. The WLAN module can be replaced as well.

A high-performance and easily upgradeable gaming laptop is currently offered at a price of around $2,000. Although it doesn't follow the trend towards increasingly slimmer devices in terms of looks, it can fully exploit its performance in return. There are also numerous ports available, which make a multi-monitor setup possible, for example.
