    Hi,

By default, Windows 7 doesn’t support multiple Remote Desktop sessions. You can see the following article for information:

Remote Desktop Connection 7 for Windows 7, Windows XP & Windows Vista

However, you may make it work by using some third party methods. I would like to share the following sites personally:

Enable Multiple User Access/Concurrent User Sessions For Remote Desktop on Windows 7

How To Allow Multiple Remote Desktop Connections on Vista

Please note: the above methods are at your own risk, Microsoft doesn’t guarantee any accuracy on contacting information.

    Best Regards

    Dale

Well I think you will find that the license for windows 7 only allows for a single user, so multiple RDP sessionswould be against the TOS (Term of service) there are third party tools out there but many get your windows license blacklisted.

Microsoft has server class OS's with license for this.

How do I allow multiple, simultaneous user logins (RDP) to my Windows 7 server?

You need a Windows Terminal Server to use functionality like that, O/S aren’t meant for this.

    Hello,

there are any product called Windows Server!!!

if you want working with RDP Access than you need to purchase Windows Server product includes the Terminal Server Role. with Windows Server CALs + RDS CALs you can aaccess reotely to your Server.

however, if you mean Remote Access Technologiesthan on the Microsoft licensing Terms of Windows 7 pro is mentionned the following:

Remote Desksession” means the experience of interacting with the software, directly or indirectly, through any combination of input, output and display peripherals. Other users may access a session from any device using these technologies, if the remote device is separately licensed to run the software.

    · Other Access Technologies. You may use Remote Assistance or similar technologies to share an active session.

    h. Media Center Extender. You may have five Media Center Extender Sessions (or other software or devices which provide similar functionality for a similar purpose) running at the same time to display the software user interface or content on other displays or devices.

    i. Electronic Programming Guide. If the software includes access to an electronic programming guide service that displays customized television listings, a separate service agreement applies to the service. If you do not agree to the terms of the service agreement, you may continue to use the software, but you will not be able to use the electronic programming guide service. The service may contain advertising content and related data, which are received and stored by the software. The service is not available in all areas. Please consult the software information for instructions on accessing the service agreement.

    j. Related Media Information. If you request related media information as part of your playback experience, the data provided to you may not be in your local language. Some countries or regions have laws and regulations which may restrict or limit your ability to access certain types of content.

    k. Worldwide Use of the Media Center. Media Center is not designed for use in every country. For example, although the Media Center information may refer to certain features such as an electronic programming guide or provide information on how to configure a TV tuner, these features may not work in your area. Please refer to the Media Center information for a list of features that may not work in your area.

    thanks

    Dear Dale,

Can you confirm that making this change does not violate legal bindings in any way.

This is in essence, a 'crack', and some third party programs that allow you do this may in fact work well, but as with any crack, you never know what else is going on under the hood after that

First of all, Windows 7 is not a server edition. Any solution to enable multiple and concurrent RDP login on Window 7is illegal since it will violate the license due to modifications in the distributed Windows system default DLL.

Crack/patch does not guarantee what is happening underneath.

Better go legal with Windows Server editions (2008/2012).

Concurrent RDP Patcher Enables Remote Desktop in Windows 7 Home Premium

HAL9000 Updated 3 years ago Windows 490 Comments

There are a lot of third party remote control pieces software around such as the popular freeware tools VNC, and TeamViewer, but there are times when the built-in Remote Desktop Connection feature in Windows 7 is the most useful since it’s already present in Windows and you don’t need to install any third party software. All you need to do is to enable it because the Remote Desktop function is disabled by default. You can enable Remote Desktop and allow connection from other computers by going to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> click on the Remote tab.

From there, you can either select “Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop” which is less secure or “Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication”. If you are setting up a connection to a different Windows version such as XP or Vista from your Windows 7 machine , then you need to choose the less secure option.

Tip: Pressing the WIN Key+ Pause/Break keys simultaneously brings up the System window.

If you only see the Remote Assistance box in the Remote tab but not Remote Desktop, that is because there are some restrictions that Microsoft has implemented in your version of Windows. Only Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise can accept connections from Remote Desktop but NOT for Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic and Home Premium. You can however, use Remote Desktop to initiate a connection from any edition of Windows 7.

Many branded laptops and computers come with Windows 7 Home Premium or possibly Home Basic pre-installed, but not to worry because there is a hack patch that can enable the Remote Desktop Connection in Windows 7 Home Premium with a single click.

There is a tool called Concurrent RDP Patcher which is meant to enable concurrent remote desktop connections, which means multiple logons per user. When you log in using the Remote Desktop Connection, the computer that is being controlled will show a message saying “Logged on remotely from COMPUTERNAME”. If you click on the user icon to login, the remote connection will be terminated with the popup:

Your Remote Desktop session has ended. Another user connected to the remote computer, so your connection was lost. Try connecting again, or contact your network administrator or technical support group.

This allows multiple users to control the remote computer using Remote Desktop.

Amazingly, this tool also enables the Remote Desktop Connection for Windows 7 Home Premium. The good thing about this patcher is you can revert the changes back to the way it was by clicking the Unpatch button. There are some scripts that can also do the same by patching termsvr.dll file but it doesn’t provide a way to undo the patch.

By default, a Remote Desktop Connection only allows you to login with a user account that has a password assigned to it. User accounts with a blank password cannot be used to login with a Remote Desktop Connection. You can handily bypass that restriction by checking the “Enable blank password logons” checkbox.

The Concurrent RDP Patcher tool was originally released by a member of The Green Button, which used to be the official Windows Media Center Community forum. Sadly that forum is no longer available. The patcher was updated by its original author a while ago to include compatibility for Windows 7 Service Pack 1. As it was effectively abandoned by the author after this we have since made further updates to the tool as and when needed. It is compatible with both 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows 7.

Note that this version of Concurrent RDP Patcher patches the dll on Windows 7 RTM, Service Pack 1 and with update KB3003743 which was released in October 2014.
