FAQs:
Q: What if I still have the No Boot Device error after all these steps?
A: If the steps in this video did identify the issue, then you should proceed to the Fresh Install of Windows as shown here; //www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7hzoRI-cSY. If that is successful, it means your HDD was good, your operating system was just messed up. If the install fails, it means the HDD is bad and you should replace it before installing Windows onto the new one..

Hi PC Monkey I have a Satellite S50D-A-10G. Following the Windows 10 Update a few months ago I left my PC on overnight since then it has not worked. Problems are boot loop and then switch itself off.. I left it for 2 months. Now it starts very slowly log in screen takes ages..PIN when entered takes ages to recognise curser. After accepting PIN the laptop then doesnt fully load and hangs after clock and power icons load in the right corner. Which process would fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

The first drive was detected and opened when connected to other pc. So its the MBR problem on that drive. You dont need to Format the drive or delete the data. Just Fix its MBR and you are ready to go. It takes only a few seconds.

Hey. I have the Toshiba Satellite E45t-A4100 core i5 laptop. Aptio Setup Utility [BIOS] did not have an option for CSM/legacy. I bought this laptop six years ago / May 2014. BIOS refused to recover without the OEM recovery disks. My laptop does not have a disk drive, so it would be useless to have the recovery disks unless I attach a portable disk drive. I dont have any. Im on windows 10 now. Other tips?

I have a Toshiba satellite pro win 10. When I follow the instructions to disable secure boot. When I go back to system configuration the boot mode is still greyed out. No drop down. What next. Auto repair runs for over an hour. Should I let it run longer? Or what else can I do to get out of this loop? Thank you

The problem started after I left the laptop on for the whole night.

My Toshiba is an older laptop and is quite different from your video. When I get to Legacy it shows enabled, so I disabled it. Laptop keeps shutting down and finally got Legacy disabled and saved. Cannot find where the other UEFI setting is to enable it. What now?

I was using a charging cable from another Toshiba laptop which I though was identical to the one this laptop came with.
I plugged in the original cable and the laptop booted with no problem although it showed only 5% battery life.
It is now recharging with the original cable.
    THANK YOU.

This problem for me is intermittent on my Qosmio DX730 All-in-one. I have reinstalled windows several times. I switched it on after the same error months ago, yesterday and was surprised that it booted up ok with no errors. After leaving it alone for about 4-5 hours, I came back to the same error. I am now not sure that it is a HDD or OS error. Could it be RAM or temperature issue?

My case is rather special, my toshiba is pretty old, like from 2014 or arround this time and my system BIOS version is 1.60. So basically I am trying to make a few years old laptop open up which I believe might be possible. However when looking at your own BIOS version which is 5.00, I see the great difference. In my security section, there is no secure boot option or tpm, also in the advanced section I have no boot mode either. Little edit, I do have a literal section called Boot lol and it pictures my choices but I cannot access neither, like when I press to select the options, nothing happens. That is my problem.
