why cant i listen to a full song

6313574With a YouTube Music Premium membership, you can choose whether to listen to your music or enjoy the music video experience with a YouTube Music Premium membership. In song mode, you can listen to the music without loading a video. This allows you to continuously enjoy music from your favorite artists, even if you're experiencing low connectivity or video playback issues. In video mode, the music video will play whenever one is available - allowing you to enjoy a complete listening and viewing experience.

Select between song and video mode:

1. Open a song you want to enjoy in the YouTube Music app.

2. You'll see the option to select Song or Video mode at the top of the screen. Tap Video to turn on video mode. Tap Song to only hear the album version of the song.

3. If you want to stop playing videos and go back to a listening only experience, tap Song.

Note: You may not see the video option if a music video is not available.

Turn on song-only mode:

1. Open the YouTube Music app, and make sure you're signed into your YouTube Music Premium membership.
2. Select your profile photo > Settings.
3. SwitchDont play music videos to the on position.
